CHOOSING CHARACTER

Each hide is selected by hand—judged by its texture, grain, and structure. We partner with tanneries who honour traditional tanning methods, seeking leather that carries character. It’s the foundation of everything we build.
EVERY CUT BY HAND
One clean cut at a time.
Precision starts with the blade. We cut each piece by hand, following patterns with control and care. The weight of the knife, the tension in the leather—it all matters. A clean cut ensures stitching that holds its shape for years.
PREPARING EACH STEP
Stitch lines marked, holes punched—one by one.
Before sewing, every detail is prepared by hand. We mark stitch paths and punch holes with pricking irons, maintaining perfect rhythm and spacing. In French leathercraft, the stitch is a signature. Preparation is everything.
ALIGNED TO THE MILLIMETRE
Edges matched. Glue applied. No excess.
Each piece is aligned and joined by hand. We apply just enough adhesive to hold, never more. This step sets the stage for perfect stitching and long-lasting form. A single misalignment would echo through the whole piece.
ONE STITCH AT THE TIME
Two needles. One thread. No compromise.
We use the saddle stitch—done entirely by hand—for strength that machines can't match. Each stitch is locked and balanced, guided by feel, not speed. It’s slow work, but it’s what separates a product from a piece of craft.
SETTING EVERY DETAIL
Hardware must work. And feel right.
We install each clasp, zipper, and buckle by hand. Every detail is tested, adjusted, and tested again. Smooth glides, clean finishes, and no rattle—hardware should feel seamless, not showy. That’s the mark of refinement.
EDGES WITH INTENTION
Edges reveal everything.
After stitching, we return to the edges—trimming, sanding, and finishing by hand. Depending on the leather, we burnish or paint with care. The result: smooth, sealed edges that protect and elevate the piece.

We inspect and finish each piece with the same attention it began with—cleaning surfaces, nourishing the leather, and ensuring every element feels complete. These final steps are quiet, but full of meaning.
